Scout, Northeastern's student-lead design studio, sponsors events every 2 weeks. We host working professionals who come to share their challenges, successes and failures in (mostly) design-related fields. This semester I have been in charge of creating posters for these events. My objective has been to be very visually impactful in order to draw even non-design students to these events. Therefore I used large type complemented by visuals that were engaging but did not compete with the type. The posters also needed to partake of the clean design ethic of the Scout brand.
