This is a hypothetical branding system for the Iguazu Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that I visited in 2015. Having experienced this breathtaking site that lies on the frontier of three countries (Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay), its lush nature and roars of tumbling water, inspired me to translate my experience into a visual system. The way in which the rainforest meets water at Iguazu is unique and I wanted to speak to that in the logotype without falling into the sometimes kitsch language of waterfalls. The main focus point for this project was to maintain a consistency of colors, typefaces and sizes as well as choice of imagery throughout the system. The goal being to create a beautiful set of things not a set of beautiful things.
